What was the Shading Challenge?
In 2023, we proudly had the opportunity to work alongside Linear Design & Construct on the Fit Out of the new 33,905 sq.ft office space for OVO Energy Scottish headquarters on Cadogan Street, in Glasgow. The new Grade A development for OVO headquarters is one of the first sustainable office developments in Scotland that is Net Zero Carbon in operation.

What was our Shading Solution?
This fit out included working in partnership with Silent Gliss to supply and install ninety-three System 4930 Roller blinds, as well as our own manufactured wave curtains (fourteen in total) across 4 floors of the new office development. All products by Silent Gliss were successfully manufactured on schedule to our specified measurements, as well as our curtains manufactured at our own factory.

How was it Delivered?
With careful coordination, bringing all materials to site by our own vehicles, the fit out was successfully managed avoiding any disruption to live floors within the building and to ensure neighbouring buildings within the city centre had no disturbance to their day. The successful schedule helped our client Linear to hand over the office space to OVO Energy on time.
