HFD Construction

Project – Aurora, Glasgow

What was the Shading Challenge?

We had the opportunity to work alongside HFD Construction to successfully help on the fit out of level 3 of the new Aurora building at 120 Bothwell Street in the heart of Glasgow’s business district. Not only does the new building offer 174,000 sq. ft of workspace, but it is also Glasgow’s most sustainable building enabling Net Zero Carbon in Operation.

What was our Shading Solution?

From the beginning of this project with HFD, we were able to work in partnership with Silent Gliss to provide the specified blinds required. Our team attended site measures and with our fast processing alongside Silent Gliss we were able to have all fifty-six 4930 & 4910 manual roller blinds manufactured and installed in time with HFD’s schedule.

How was it Delivered?

With careful delivery of all blinds on site by our install team, all blinds were successfully installed on time for the client moving into their new office space allowing them to move in seamlessly with no disruptions.

Client Feedback

The Aurora project has been a great success for putting Bothwell Street back on the map in Glasgow. The project reflects HFD’s hard work and dedication, and it was a privilege to supply and install the Silent Gliss blinds to the 3rd floor of the building allowing the workspace to have privacy and glare control throughout. Goldcrest are proud to be part of the team that helped HFD Construction score a remarkable 45/45 in their Considerate Constructor’s visit.
